The S8590 continuously monitors hair moisture during styling and adjusts the heat to help protect against damage and breakage. The sensor can also be switched off when manual temperature control is preferred. Five digital temperature settings from 160°C to 230°C make it suitable for different hair types. The straightener heats up in approximately 15 seconds, produces an audible ready signal and includes temperature lock, turbo boost and automatic safety shut-off.
