The Philips Shaver Series 7000 S7885/50 is designed for a close daily shave with additional skin-comfort technology. It combines 45 self-sharpening SteelPrecision blades, flexible 360-D shaving heads and Philips SkinIQ sensors. The Power Adapt sensor reads beard density up to 250 times per second and automatically adjusts shaving power, while the Motion Control sensor helps guide the user toward more efficient circular shaving movements. A Nano SkinGlide coating helps the shaving heads move more smoothly across the skin. The shaver supports dry shaving, wet shaving with foam or gel and shower use.

The Philips S7885/50 uses three flexible rotary heads to follow the cheeks, chin, neck and jawline. Its 45 SteelPrecision blades perform up to 90,000 cutting actions per minute, helping capture short facial hair and beard growth of up to approximately three days. Hair-guiding channels on the shaving-head surface position hairs toward the blades for more efficient cutting. The SkinIQ Power Adapt sensor automatically responds to denser beard areas, while the Motion Control sensor tracks shaving technique. The shaver can also connect by Bluetooth to the Philips GroomTribe application for personalised shaving guidance and progress information. The supplied Quick Clean Pod cleans and lubricates the shaving system in approximately one minute.
