Overview

The Tefal IXEO Power QT2020 is an advanced garment-care station designed to replace a separate steam iron, garment steamer and traditional ironing board. Its patented Smart Board can be positioned horizontally for conventional ironing, vertically for steaming or tilted to approximately 30 degrees for a more comfortable working angle. A 2170W heating system reaches operating temperature in around 70 seconds. High-pressure steam of up to 5.8 bar delivers as much as 90g/min continuously, while the 200g steam boost helps tackle more stubborn wrinkles. The lightweight handheld steam head is designed to be easier to manoeuvre than a conventional steam iron. Its pointed tip helps access collars, button areas, seams and other narrow sections of garments.

The integrated Smart Board eliminates the need to store and unfold a separate ironing board and gives users three working positions depending on the garment and preferred posture. The high-pressure steam system combines the performance of a steam generator with the flexibility of a garment steamer. Continuous steam penetrates fabric fibres to relax wrinkles, while the steam-boost function provides extra power for thicker materials and more difficult creases. Three simple operating settings automatically balance steam output and soleplate temperature across a wide variety of ironable fabrics. The handheld head weighs approximately half as much as a traditional steam iron, helping reduce wrist strain during longer sessions. Its removable 1.1L water tank allows convenient refilling and enables the detachable base to be used around the home for curtains, bedding and upholstered fabrics. The built-in rinsing system also simplifies scale maintenance.
