The Philips Lumea IPL 7000 Series BRI921/60 is an at-home Intense Pulsed Light device designed to reduce unwanted hair regrowth on the body and face. It includes two dedicated treatment attachments: a large body attachment for areas such as the legs, arms, stomach and underarms, and a smaller facial attachment with an integrated light filter for the upper lip, chin and jawline. The device offers five manual intensity settings, an integrated skin-tone sensor and a safety system that prevents unintentional flashing. It also includes the Philips Satin Compact HP6388 pen trimmer for removing fine facial hair.
Philips Lumea applies controlled pulses of light to the hair root. The light is absorbed by pigment in the hair, encouraging the follicle to enter a resting phase and gradually reducing visible hair regrowth when treatments are repeated according to the recommended schedule. The integrated skin-tone sensor evaluates the treatment area and prevents the device from flashing when the detected skin tone is too dark for safe IPL use. Five manually selectable intensity levels allow users to choose a suitable setting for their skin and comfort level. The body attachment has a large 4cm² treatment window for faster use across larger areas. The facial attachment uses a smaller 2cm² window with an additional integrated filter for precise facial treatment.
