The Philips Series 2200 EP2220/10 is an entry-level fully automatic bean-to-cup coffee machine designed to prepare espresso and regular coffee from freshly ground beans. It includes a built-in ceramic grinder with 12 adjustable settings, an intuitive touch-control panel and Philips My Coffee Choice settings for adjusting coffee strength and drink volume. The separate classic milk frother produces steam for manually preparing milk foam for cappuccino, latte macchiato and other milk-based drinks. Its 1.8L water tank and 275g bean container make it suitable for regular household or small-office use.
The Philips EP2220/10 automatically grinds coffee beans, doses the coffee, compresses the grounds and brews the selected drink. Users can select espresso or coffee directly from the touch display. The machine also dispenses hot water, while the side-mounted classic frother can be used to steam or foam milk manually. The removable brewing group can be taken out and rinsed under running water. The machine is also compatible with the Philips AquaClean filter, helping reduce limescale formation and the frequency of descaling when filters are activated and replaced correctly.
