Overview

The Super General SGI20DC is a lightweight dry iron designed for everyday ironing at home and for portable use during travel where the local voltage is compatible. Its non-stick Teflon soleplate glides across common fabrics, while the adjustable thermostat allows the user to select an appropriate temperature for different materials. A manually operated spray function applies a fine mist of water to difficult creases without using a steam generator. The heat-resistant plastic housing and approximately 0.85kg gross weight make the iron easy to handle and store.

Product Description

The SGI20DC uses a conventional electric heating element beneath a coated soleplate. The temperature-control dial regulates heat according to the selected fabric setting. An indicator light shows when the heating element is active, while the thermostat cycles the element on and off to maintain the selected temperature. The narrow front tip helps reach around buttons, collars, cuffs and seams. A power cord of approximately 1.7 metres provides comfortable movement across an ironing board.
